Our Story
Davina Romansky is an award winning designer turned culinary entrepreneur, whose creative journey bridges the worlds of fine art and bold flavor. With a BFA in Jewelry Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and credentials in gemology from the Gemology Institute of America, she began her career in New York City—designing, teaching, and exhibiting work under Romansky Jewelry.
In 2019, life called her and her son back to Ohio. After the loss of her father and the chaos of a global pandemic, she found herself behind the bar at a country club, crafting cocktails, including her signature Bloody Mary. Yet she struggled to find a hot sauce worthy of her vision. Driven by her design instincts and resourcefulness, she developed her own—rooted in the Moroccan tradition of preserving lemons. That first preserved citrus became the seed for something new.
Today, Davina is the founder of Davina Raes, a growing brand centered on natural ingredients, preserved fruits, and bold flavor profiles. Over four years, she has grown the business from a single recipe to a full line of hot sauces and innovative flavor powders that reinterpret heat and taste. The brand is currently seen across Ohio and available online with plans for expansion.
